It’s autumn in Miami and it’s time to dig through the depths of my closet and summon all the long-sleeved and full-length garments I’ve been neglecting for the last eight or nine months.
Make fun all you want, but I’m really not built for the dry, frigid air the rest of the world so enjoys.
(Cue the dehydrated skin, sinus pressure, and sore throat!)
Don’t be fooled by my fair skin.
Like a reptile, I thrive in the scorching sun and heavy humidity…

This Ocelot printed dress is long-sleeved and hits just above the knee on my 5’5″ frame.
Super sheer and stretchy, it’s far from modest as it calls for a slip and hugs every curve on my body.
A black blazer breaks up the busy pattern and gives that #GIRLBOSS flair that only a fitted black blazer can.
Visually, heels are absolutely essential with any bodycon dress since they force you to be mindful of your posture.
Strappy black pony hair heels give a nod to the whole wild animal thing I have going here without competing with the print for attention.
My messy straight hair, a trademark of sorts, is a lovely metallic silver that I’ve only ever dreamed of achieving.
